ABOUT SAMAH
Samah Abdulhamid (Syria, 1990) is a multidisciplinary artist, musician, and Gestalt therapist based in Mexico. Working across printmaking, voice, and other expressive media, her practice explores memory, migration, identity, femininity, and transformation. Drawing from her experience as an Arab migrant and her interest in the psychological, symbolic, and spiritual dimensions of human experience, Samah creates spaces for reflection, connection, and healing through art.

Gestalt Therapy
Gestalt therapy is an invitation to deepen awareness, reconnect with yourself, and explore life's challenges with presence and curiosity. Through a compassionate, collaborative approach, Samah offers a space to navigate transitions, relationships, identity, and personal growth, supporting a more authentic and integrated way of being.

Music
Music is an essential thread in Samah's practice. As a singer and percussionist, her musical journey is rooted in traditional African percussion learned in Beirut and Senegal, alongside vocal performance and an ongoing exploration of Arabic music. She is the founder of ArabLab, a project that weaves Arabic musical traditions with contemporary sounds, and has collaborated with ensembles including No Existo, Xiranda, and Wujeres. Across performance, improvisation, and collaboration, her work explores music as a space for memory, cultural dialogue, and collective expression.
